The official inspection of plant protection products could not be left out of this summer’s series of seasonal inspections: under the direction of Nébih, the inspectors of the county government offices carried out a total of 224 inspections. The specialists examined both the plant protection products available from the producers and those on the market in order to find potentially fake and illegal preparations. The specialists found errors in only 6 cases out of 224 inspections, and initiated proceedings for the distribution and use of fake or illegal plant protection agents. The authorities imposed plant protection fines in two counties: Csongrád-Csanád and Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg. In the former county, HUF 500,000, while in the latter, HUF 100,000 in total.
