The Romanian government expects GDP growth of 2.9 percent this year

Analysts expect Romanian economy to grow close to 3 percent
Already in mid-February, a professional body under the Bucharest Cabinet cut its forecast from 4.6 percent to 4.3 percent. The current forecast has taken into account the consequences of the Russian-Ukrainian war and is in line with the slowdown projected by the international financial institutions, but the Romanian government is still the most optimistic of the latest forecasts to date.
